NORTH VIEW AREA – CWB

CONTRACT NO. 1 - BEAR CONTRACTING

The contractor completed the main line tie in at 20th and Goff Avenue. The new main line installation was completed on Gould Avenue from 21st Street to 22nd Street. New customers meter services were installed on Gould Avenue and Pride Avenue from 19th Street to 20th Street.

The schedule for next week is to continue laying main line on Gould Avenue from 22nd Street to 24th Street and start laying main line on Goff Avenue from 20th Street to 24th Street and Pride Avenue from 20th Street to 24th Street.

NO PARKING signs will be placed in the sections the contractor is planning to work, please find alternate parking during the posted working hours. If your vehicle is parked in the work zone, it will be towed to a safe location if you cannot be located. If you need access to your driveway, please speak to the contractor onsite.

Gould Avenue will be closed from 23rd Street to 24th Street and Goff Avenue and Pride Avenue will be closed in sections from 20th Street to 24th Street.

Road closed signs will be in place, please use alternate routes.

Fire and EMS service in North View should not be affected this week.

HARTLAND AND STEALEY AREAS – CWB

CONTRACT NO. 2 - DOSS ENTERPRISES

New customer meter settings were installed on Collins Avenue and Joseph Street. Concrete sidewalk repairs and yard restorations continued to be made throughout the project area. Trench paving continued on Nicholas Street, Ash Avenue, Hall Street, and Ridenour Street.

The schedule for next week is to continue customer service connections on Euclid Avenue, Woodland Avenue, and Ash Avenue. The contractor will continue making concrete repairs and doing yard restorations throughout the project area. Trench paving will continue on Carpenter Street, Marion Street, Stealey Avenue, Baver Street, Collins Avenue, and Duff Street. The new main line will continue on Duff Street from Duncan Avenue to Joseph Street.

Carpenter Street, Duff Street, Woodland Avenue, Marion Street, Baver Street, Joseph Street, Stealey Avenue, and Collins Street will be closed at times throughout the week. Road closed signs and flaggers will be in place, please use alternate routes.

Fire and EMS service to the Stealey area around the park should not be affected. Flaggers are setup in the work area to allow local traffic to enter and exit.

CHESTNUT HILLS (KRAMER DRIVE) – CWB

CONTRACT NO. 3 - D&M CONTRACTING

This project is completed.

DOWNTOWN AREA - CWB

CONTRACT NO. 4W - INDEPENDENT ENTERPRISES

The contractor completed the new customer meter connections in Traders Alley and made asphalt trench repairs. The main line tie ins were completed at 4th Street and Traders Alley. Several of the concrete sidewalks were repaired last week and yard restorations were completed.

The schedule for next week is to complete any punch list items.

DOWNTOWN AREA (WEST END) – CSB

CONTRACT NO. 4S - INDEPENDENT CONTRACTING

The storm inlet and sanitary manhole final cleanup was continued last week. Several sidewalks were repaired on the West End of Main Street and Pike Street. The Sanitary Sewer pipe lining was completed last week.

The contractor will be completing punch list items West Main Street and West Pike Street next week.

West Pike Street and West Main Street will be one lane at times from Wendy’s to 6th Street.

Fire and EMS service in the West End of Pike and Main Streets should not be affected, though traffic may be congested at times.
