NORTH VIEW AREA – CWB
CONTRACT NO. 1 - BEAR CONTRACTING
The contractor completed the main line tie-in at 24th and Williams Avenue. The new main line installation was completed on Gould Avenue from 19th Street to 21st Street and on Pride Avenue from 19th to 20th. New customer meter services were installed on 21st Street from Williams Avenue to WV Avenue. Yard restorations continued throughout the project.
This week’s schedule is to continue laying mainline on Gould Avenue from 21st to 24th Street and start laying mainline on Pride Avenue from 20th Street to 24th Street. Yard restorations and concrete sidewalk and street repairs will continue throughout the project.
NO PARKING signs will be placed in the sections the contractor is planning to work; please find alternate parking during the posted working hours. If your vehicle is parked in the work zone, it will be towed to a safe location if you cannot be located. If you need access to your driveway, please speak to the contractor onsite.
Gould Avenue will be closed from 21st to 24th Street
Pride Avenue will be closed from 20th Street to 24th Street
Road Closed signs will be in place—please use alternate routes.
Fire and EMS service in North View should not be affected this week.
HARTLAND AND STEALEY AREAS – CWB
CONTRACT NO. 2 - DOSS ENTERPRISES
New customer meter settings were installed on Duff Street, Marion Street, Baver Street, and Stealey Avenue. Concrete sidewalk repairs and yard restorations continued throughout the project. Trench paving continued on Woodland Avenue, Nicholas Street, Ash Avenue, Joseph Street, and Hall Street.
This week’s schedule is to begin customer service connections on Euclid Avenue and Woodland Avenue. The contractor will continue making concrete repairs and doing yard restorations throughout the project. Trench paving will continue on Hall Street, Carpenter Street, Ridenour Street, and Duff Street.
NO PARKING signs will be placed in the sections the contractor is planning to work; please find alternate parking during the posted work hours. Hall Street, Ridenour Street, Carpenter Street, and Duff Street will be closed at times throughout the week

Fire and EMS service to the Stealey area around the park should not be affected. Flaggers are set up in the work area to allow local traffic to enter and exit.
CHESTNUT HILLS (KRAMER DRIVE) – CWB
CONTRACT NO. 3 - D&M CONTRACTING
Final cleanup and yard restorations are scheduled.
DOWNTOWN AREA - CWB
CONTRACT NO. 4W - INDEPENDENT ENTERPRISES
The contractor completed the new customer meter settings in Traders Alley and made asphalt trench repairs. The main line tie-ins were completed at 3rd Street and Traders Alley and 4th Street and Traders Alley. Several of the concrete sidewalks were repaired this week and that work will continue this week.
This week’s schedule is to complete the asphalt trench repairs in Traders Alley between 5th Street and 4th Street. Concrete sidewalk repairs will continue this week.
Traders Alley will be closed from 5th Street to 4th Street.
Fire and EMS service should not be affected; traffic will be controlled by flaggers.
DOWNTOWN AREA (WEST END) – CSB
CONTRACT NO. 4S - INDEPENDENT CONTRACTING
The storm inlet and sanitary manhole final cleanup was continued this week. Several sidewalks were repaired on the West End of Main Street and Pike Street. The sanitary sewer pipe lining continued this week and will be wrapping up this week.
The contractor will be completing restoration work on West Main Street and West Pike Street this week.
West Pike Street and West Main Street will be one lane at times from Wendy’s to 6th Street.
Fire and EMS service in the West End of Pike and Main Streets should not be affected, though traffic may be congested at times.
