NORTH VIEW AREA – CWB
CONTRACT NO. 1 - BEAR CONTRACTING
The contractor completed new customer service connections on Williams Avenue. The new main line installation was finished on 20th Street from Goff Avenue toward Gould Avenue, and work began on Pride Avenue and Gould Avenue from 20th Street to 19th Street. Yard restoration and sidewalk repairs continued throughout the project area.
This week’s schedule includes main line tie-ins at 22nd Street and Williams Avenue, as well as at 21st Street and WV Avenue. Work will also continue on Gould Avenue from 20th to 21st Street. Yard restorations and concrete sidewalk and street repairs will continue throughout the project.
NO PARKING signs will be posted in sections where work is planned; please use alternate parking during posted working hours. Vehicles parked in the work zone will be towed to a safe location if the owner cannot be located. For driveway access, please speak with the onsite contractor.
Williams Avenue will be closed at 22nd Street on Monday.
21st Street will be closed from Williams Avenue to WV Avenue on Tuesday.
Gould Avenue will be closed from 20th to 21st Street.
Road Closed signs will be in place—please use alternate routes.
Fire and EMS service in North View should not be affected this week.
HARTLAND AND STEALEY AREAS – CWB
CONTRACT NO. 2 - DOSS ENTERPRISES
New customer meter settings were installed on Woodland Avenue, Carpenter Street, Hall Street, Ridenour Street, and Nicholas Street. Concrete sidewalk repairs and yard restorations continued throughout the project. Trench paving continued on Euclid Avenue and Woodland Avenue.
This week’s schedule includes continuing installation of new customer meter settings on Stealey Avenue, Marion Street, Baver Street, and Duff Street. The contractor will also continue concrete repairs and yard restorations across the project. Trench paving will continue on Woodland Avenue, Ash Avenue, Nicholas Street, and Joseph Street.
NO PARKING signs will be posted in the planned work sections. Please use alternate parking during posted work hours. Vehicles parked in work zones will be towed if the owner cannot be located. For driveway access, please speak with the onsite contractor.
Woodland Avenue from Joseph Street to the Dead End, Nicholas Street, Duff Street, Marion Street, Stealey Avenue, Baver Street, Ash Avenue, and Joseph Street will be closed at times throughout the week.
Road Closed signs and flaggers will be in place—please use alternate routes.
Fire and EMS service to the Stealey area around the park should not be affected. Flaggers are set up in the work area to allow local traffic to enter and exit.
CHESTNUT HILLS (KRAMER DRIVE) – CWB
CONTRACT NO. 3 - D&M CONTRACTING
Final cleanup and yard restorations are scheduled.
DOWNTOWN AREA - CWB
CONTRACT NO. 4W - INDEPENDENT ENTERPRISES
The contractor continued installing new customer meter settings in Traders Alley. Several concrete sidewalks were repaired this week, and that work will continue this week.
This week’s schedule includes completing new customer meter connections in Traders Alley between 5th Street and 4th Street and making main line tie-ins at 3rd and 4th Streets in Traders Alley. Concrete sidewalk repairs and trench repairs will continue.
Traders Alley will be closed from 5th Street to 4th Street.
Fire and EMS service should not be affected; traffic will be controlled by flaggers.
DOWNTOWN AREA (WEST END) – CSB
CONTRACT NO. 4S - INDEPENDENT CONTRACTING
Final cleanup of storm inlets and sanitary manholes continued this week. Several sidewalks were repaired on the West End of Main Street and Pike Street.
The contractor will be completing restoration work on West Main Street and West Pike Street this week.
West Pike Street and West Main Street will be reduced to one lane at times from Wendy’s to 6th Street.
Fire and EMS service in the West End of Pike and Main Streets should not be affected, though traffic may be congested at times.
