NORTH VIEW AREA – CWB

CONTRACT NO. 1 - BEAR CONTRACTING

Work Completed

Customer service connections were completed on 19th Street between Hamill Avenue and Goff Avenue, and on Pride Avenue from 20th Street to 21st Street.

A new 2-inch water main was installed at the end of 18th Street, along with new customer meter settings.

Main line tie-ins were completed on Pride Avenue at 23rd Street.

Concrete sidewalk repairs were completed on Williams Avenue.

Work Scheduled This Week

Installation of a new water main will begin on Goff Avenue from 20th Street toward 24th Street.

New customer service connections will be completed on 18th Street at Rose Avenue, on 23rd Street from Goff Avenue to Gould Avenue, and behind the new main line installation on Goff Avenue.

Concrete repairs will continue throughout the project.

Traffic Information

NO PARKING signs will be posted in active work areas. Please park in alternate locations during posted work hours. Vehicles left in work zones will be towed to a safe location if the owner cannot be located. If you need access to your driveway, please speak with the contractor on site.

Pride Avenue will be closed in sections from 20th Street to 24th Street.

Goff Avenue will be closed from 20th Street to 22nd Street.

Please follow all Road Closed signs and use alternate routes.

Emergency Services: Fire and EMS services in North View are not expected to be affected this week.

HARTLAND AND STEALEY AREAS – CWB

CONTRACT NO. 2 - DOSS ENTERPRISES

Work Completed

Customer service connections were completed on Simpson Avenue, Ryder Avenue, Pick Street, Woodland Avenue, and Collins Avenue.

Concrete sidewalk repairs were completed on Euclid Avenue, Woodland Avenue, and Simpson Avenue.

Work Scheduled This Week

Customer meter connections will continue on Temple Terrace, Ryder Avenue, Duff Avenue, and Duncan Avenue.

Concrete repairs will continue throughout the project.

Asphalt trench repairs will continue on Duff Avenue.

Street milling and paving are scheduled to resume on July 17.

The contractor will begin work on Milford Street between Liberty Avenue and Magnolia Avenue.

Traffic Information

Milford Street will be reduced to one lane between Liberty Avenue and Magnolia Avenue, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Duff Avenue, Collins Avenue, Simpson Avenue, and Duncan Avenue will be reduced to one lane or temporarily closed at various times throughout the week.

Flaggers and Road Closed signs will be in place to assist motorists. Please use caution and follow all traffic control devices.

Emergency Services: Fire and EMS services in the Stealey area are not expected to be affected. Flaggers will be on site to help ensure local traffic can safely enter and exit the work area.
