NORTH VIEW AREA – CWB
CONTRACT NO. 1 - BEAR CONTRACTING
Work Completed
Completed testing of the new main waterline on Goff Avenue and began customer service connections.
Completed the new waterline and customer services on 18th Street.
Installed a new air release valve at the end of Nulter Alley.
Work Scheduled for This Week
Tie in the new main waterline on Goff Avenue at 22nd Street and 23rd Street.
Continue customer service connections on Goff Avenue.
Continue sidewalk repairs throughout the project.
Paving crew will start milling and blacktopping streets and continue throughout the month of August.
Traffic Information
NO PARKING signs will be posted in active work areas. Vehicles may be towed if necessary. Speak with the contractor if driveway access is needed.
Goff Avenue will be closed in sections from 20th Street to 24th Street.
Please follow Road Closed signs and use alternate routes.
Emergency Services: Fire and EMS services in North View are not expected to be affected this week.
HARTLAND AND STEALEY AREAS – CWB
CONTRACT NO. 2 - DOSS ENTERPRISES
Work Completed
Completed new customer service connections on Duff Avenue.
Completed concrete sidewalk repairs on Simpson Avenue, Pick Street, and Duff Avenue.
Continued installation of the new main waterline and customer services on Milford Street from Magnolia Avenue to Hartland Avenue.
Completed paving on Temple Terrace, Euclid Avenue, Coolidge Street, Hall Street, Nicholas Street, Ridenour Street, and Carpenter Street.
Work Scheduled for This Week
Continue concrete repairs throughout the project.
Begin trench paving on Duff Avenue and adjoining streets before moving to Milford Street.
Continue work on Milford Street between Magnolia Avenue and Euclid Avenue. Work hours will be 24 hours Monday through Thursday and day shift Friday.
Traffic Information
NO PARKING signs will be posted in active work areas. Vehicles may be towed if necessary. Speak with the contractor if driveway access is needed.
Milford Street will remain one lane from Magnolia Avenue to Euclid Avenue Monday through Thursday (24 hours) and Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.
Additional streets may be affected as work progresses; daily updates will be posted.
Road Closed signs and flaggers will be in place. Please use alternate routes.
Emergency Services: Fire and EMS services in the Stealey area around the park are not expected to be affected. Flaggers will assist local traffic entering and exiting the work area.
