NORTH VIEW AREA – CWB
CONTRACT NO. 1 - BEAR CONTRACTING
Work Completed
The contractor began installation of the new main waterline on 21st Street, progressing from Pearlman Avenue toward Green Street.
Concrete sidewalk repairs were completed throughout the project area. Several streets between 12th and 20th Streets were milled, and paving was completed on portions of the milled streets.
Work Scheduled for This Week
The contractor will complete any remaining trench paving and continue milling streets and paving from curb to curb. Milling and paving operations are scheduled for 16th Street, 17th Street, Hamill Avenue, Williams Avenue, Goff Avenue, and 18th Street.
The following streets are scheduled for milling and paving:
16th Street from West Virginia Avenue to Goff Avenue
Hamill Avenue from 17th Street to 20th Street
17th Street from Goff Avenue to Gould Avenue
17th Street from West Virginia Avenue to Williams Avenue
Williams Avenue from 16th Street to 20th Street
Goff Avenue from 16th Street to 17th Street
18th Street from Henderson Avenue to Pearlman Avenue
Main waterline installation will continue on 21st Street between Pearlman Avenue and Green Street. Concrete sidewalk repairs will also continue throughout the project.
Traffic Information
NO PARKING signs will be placed in areas where the contractor is scheduled to work. Residents are asked to find alternate parking during the posted working hours. If a vehicle is parked within an active work zone and the owner cannot be located, the vehicle will be moved to a safe location. Residents who need access to their driveways should speak directly with the contractor onsite.
Road Closed signs will be in place during construction, milling, and paving operations. Motorists should use alternate routes and allow additional travel time through the North View area.
Emergency Services
Fire and EMS services in North View will be detoured as necessary during construction activities.
HARTLAND AND STEALEY AREAS – CWB
CONTRACT NO. 2 - DOSS ENTERPRISES
Work Completed
The contractor completed concrete sidewalk repairs on Simpson Avenue, Fittro Street, and Hall Street.
Work continued on Milford Street from Baker Avenue to North Avenue with the installation of the new main waterline and customer service connections. The paving crew completed trench paving on Milford Street behind the mainline installation.
New customer service connections were also completed on Hall Street between Nicholas Street and Milford Street.
Work Scheduled for This Week
The contractor will continue waterline construction on Milford Street between North Avenue and Park Boulevard.
Work on Milford Street will continue 24 hours a day, Monday through Thursday. Friday operations will be limited to the day shift.
The contractor will begin concrete sidewalk repairs on Milford Street at Liberty Avenue and progress toward North Avenue. The remaining paving on Carpenter Street at Duff Avenue is also scheduled to be completed this week.

Milford Street will be reduced to one lane in sections from Liberty Avenue to Park Boulevard. Traffic restrictions will be in effect 24 hours a day Monday through Thursday and from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday.
Additional streets may be affected depending on construction progress. Daily updates will be posted as conditions change.
Road Closed signs and flaggers will be in place as necessary. Motorists should use alternate routes whenever possible.
Emergency Services
Fire and EMS access to the Stealey area along Milford Street will be affected by construction activities. Flaggers will be stationed within the work area to assist emergency services and allow local traffic to safely enter and exit.
