NORTH VIEW AREA – CWB
CONTRACT NO. 1 - BEAR CONTRACTING
Work Completed
The contractor completed the new main waterline tie-ins and customer service connections on Goff, Pride, and Gould Avenues between 20th and 25th Streets.
Concrete sidewalk repairs were completed on Williams, Hamill, and Pride Avenues. The remaining old fire hydrants and valves were also removed.
Asphalt trench repairs began on Gould, Pride, and Goff Avenues. Any remaining trench paving will be completed during the upcoming week.
Work Scheduled for This Week
The contractor will complete any remaining trench paving and begin milling streets in preparation for curb-to-curb paving. Milling and paving operations will begin in the 16th Street area and progress toward 20th Street.
The following streets are scheduled for milling and possible paving:
• 14th Street from West Virginia Avenue to Alpha Avenue
• 16th Street from West Virginia Avenue to NVAC
• Hamill Avenue from 16th Street to 20th Street
• 17th Street from Goff Avenue to Gould Avenue
• 17th Street from West Virginia Avenue to Williams Avenue
• Williams Avenue from 16th Street to 17th Street
• Goff Avenue from 16th Street to 17th Street
• Pride Avenue from 16th Street to 17th Street
• Barnes Avenue from 16th Street to 17th Street
Concrete sidewalk repairs will continue throughout the project.
Traffic Information
NO PARKING signs will be placed in areas where the contractor is scheduled to work. Residents are asked to find alternate parking during the posted working hours. If a vehicle is parked within an active work zone and the owner cannot be located, the vehicle will be moved to a safe location.
Residents who need access to their driveways should speak directly with the contractor onsite.
Road Closed signs will be in place during milling and paving operations. Motorists should use alternate routes and allow additional travel time through the North View area.
Emergency Services
Fire and EMS services in North View will be detoured as necessary during construction activities.
HARTLAND AND STEALEY AREAS – CWB
CONTRACT NO. 2 - DOSS ENTERPRISES
Work Completed
The contractor completed concrete sidewalk repairs on Duff Avenue, Marion Street, Baver Street, Joseph Street, and Collins Avenue. Work continued on Milford Street from Waverly Way to Baker Avenue with the installation of the new main waterline and customer service connections.
The paving crew also completed trench paving on Milford Street behind the mainline installation.
Work Scheduled for This Week
The contractor will continue waterline construction on Milford Street between Baker Avenue and Park Boulevard.
Work on Milford Street will continue 24 hours a day, Monday through Thursday. Friday operations will be limited to the day shift.
The contractor will also continue concrete repairs throughout the project area.

Milford Street will be reduced to one lane in sections from Waverly Way to Park Boulevard. Traffic restrictions will be in effect 24 hours a day Monday through Thursday and from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday.
Additional streets may be affected depending on construction progress. Daily updates will be posted as conditions change.
Road Closed signs and flaggers will be in place as necessary. Motorists should use alternate routes whenever possible.
Emergency Services
Fire and EMS access to the Stealey area along Milford Street will be affected by construction activities. Flaggers will be stationed within the work area to assist emergency services and allow local traffic to safely enter and exit.
